About The Concert

Why I Created This Concert:
I wanted to do something that would combine all of my passions – music, baking, and giving back. And this is what I came up with!

Performers:
This is a Kid’s Charity Concert put on by kids from elementary through high school. Come and see the talented youth in your own backyard.

How We Will Give Back:
We will be raising money and collecting items to help fight against childhood hunger. There will be activity, food, and information booths outside while kid's rock it out on-stage inside.

Volunteers & Sponsors:
All volunteers & sponsors are welcome! As with any event, we can’t do it without you. There are plenty of ways your donation, expertise, or time before, during, and after the show can help make this charity concert a success! And, no one is too young. Find out how kids can volunteer and help make a difference.

Relax & Enjoy The Show:
Enjoy a beautiful afternoon of music, refreshments, and fun while you feel good about making a difference in someone’s life.

About Lucy - I started baking when I turned 6 years old and I was hired to do my first wedding that year. When I was 7, I joined the Topanga Chamber of Commerce and have many repeat customers. At 8 years old, the Topanga Chamber of Commerce named me 2013 Youth Business of the Year and I was the local store winner of the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program. I make everything from scratch and I like to try new recipes while I rock it out in the kitchen. When I was 9, I decided to combine my three biggest passions – music, baking, and giving back – to make a bigger impact. The result...Lucy’s $10 or 10 First Annual Kid’s Charity Concert, which raised $1,400 for several local charities. Then, at 10, I opened my own store-front display case, selling my baked goods inside SweetXO. Now that I'm 11, I'm busy planning Lucy's Second Annual Kid's Charity Concert to fight childhood hunger. I hope you come and enjoy the show!
